13:07	<rw23>	hi i have problems with setting up a private network for some virtual xen guests. i want the guests to have a private ip range like 192.168.0/24 and connect to the internet through the host as a gateway, i have added some routing-rules so that the host can ping the guest with its private subnet and i have enabled ip-forwarding on the host
13:08	<rw23>	but if i try to ping a external address ping reports me about a host redirect directly to the default gw of the host. but thats not working cause the gateway does not know about the private subnet
13:09	<rw23>	so masquerading is not working, but i have no real idea why
13:09	<rw23>	iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE is my iptables-command
13:11	<rw23>	on my laptop and on my local router is this working :( i think its cause the packets from the xen guest with its private ip comes from the same interface (eth0)
