15:24	<bschulz>	it comes back up when you do an ifup eth0 but you have to do that from the cosole... any idea why this would be?

21:36	<Cyis>	well I grab'd the 3.0.0 live cd image off the torrent and burn'd it at work today... gonna try booting it and see if it has the same problem that 2.0.7 has on this one machine

21:41	<Cyis>	it would appear that although they removed the test from the x86_32.S code it still won't boot on an AMD-K6 machine but it also doesn't present any warning or error to that effect... it just hangs
