jdike: with a breakpoint on waitpid I got three basic classes of stack traces: http://paste.pocoo.org/show/41032/ (break on wait4 was never hit... I should gdb -p <lowest pid> again, right?)
jdike |

can you get UML in the same state as shown in http://paste.pocoo.org/show/41008/
thatch |

for example, http://paste.pocoo.org/show/41014/
thatch |

jdike: I see some bits like this every couple of seconds throughout the run (and during the hang) http://paste.pocoo.org/show/41012/
thatch |
||
This is the sort of thing I see on the host - http://paste.pocoo.org/show/41008/ (stracing the lowest-numbered pid, not sure if I'm doing it right)
thatch |
||
strace in the UML shows nothing, gdb bt shows something like http://paste.pocoo.org/show/41006/

hi i have just started using uml. I followed this method 'http://kernel-kiwi.wikidot.com/uml'. The fstab file is 'http://rafb.net/p/97dTuF45.html'. I am getting this error "Mounting local filesystems...failed." on booting. But as far as I can tell there is noting wrong with fstab.

http://rafb.net/p/MfoUJn52.html doesn't help much :-/ -11's before it boots very far
