11:29	<fo0bar>	jdike: you just need to set an ip, nothing fancy... however, I'm now thinking it has something to do with the host as well. I tried some 2.6.17 linode kernels on my UML server in question, all had the same problem. However, running the same kernels on Linode itself did not show the problem

11:31	<fo0bar>	jdike: but if I drop down to 2.6.16 (or lower) on the guest, the problem disappears
