18:29	samtregar	Hello all. I'm trying to boot a Redhat 7.2 root FS using a 2.4.21-6um kernel. The system boots fine until it trys to mount the proc fs. Then I see: "Mounting proc filesystem: Child 14701 exited with signal 11" and it hangs. Any ideas?
18:30	samtregar	My real goal is to get a UML system running RH 7.2 or 7.3 from within Fedora Core 3 (my desktop OS). I'm trying to access a VPN that has RH7.2/3 support but won't work on Fedora.

20:06	gnufan	Newbie pain - we are lost - have Debian server (Sarge - was this a mistake) - have the Debian root disk that requires devfs=mount (the Debians docs suggest we got the wrong one without naming the right one). It looks and feels like Linux, but the modules in the root disk don't seem to match the kernel, and I can't get networking to work at all from within a UML instance.
